At Amera, we provide outpatient transportation services with qualified medical personnel. We fill in the gap for patients needing or lacking access to reliable and qualified transportation and lobby standby.

Our History
We started back in 2010 with the vision of providing a medical transportation solution to day surgery. From there, we grew to become an inspiring partner to those who cannot rely on or want to inconvenience others.
Word quickly spread through our reputation of accessible and professional patient transport. Before we had a plan to expand, we found more and more patients requesting outpatient procedure transportation. So now we serve every state in the continental US and Hawaii, and Alaska.
Our reliability is the main factor in our success. We maintain a fully coordinated and multi-lingual one-point center to work with patients in finding them the right transportation for the day of their procedure or outpatient surgery. While we schedule many patients well in advance, we have also helped patients with same-day transportation for last-minute surgeries or when other transportation plans fell through.
Our Drivers
Amera would not have had as much success if it weren’t for the quality of our qualified caregiver drivers. We search for the right people who can be dependable, courteous, and most of all, caring. We know our patients are looking for transportation, but we also realize this transportation follows a medical procedure that may include sensitivity, care management, and patience.
Our outpatient surgery drivers:
- Have a certification of nursing (CNA)
- Provide transportation to and from Ambulatory Surgical Centers
- Have the ability to sign in/out patients before and after procedures
- Wait in the lobby if requested
- Follow all safety guidelines according to Amera protocol
- Maintain their vehicles
- Provide compassionate and caring service
