We provide non-emergency transportation for any patient that has an outpatient procedure. This includes eye institutes, dental surgery centers, hospitals, plastic surgery offices, pain injections, outpatient surgical centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and other medical centers.

Call our call center to book your transportation. We are available Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm, and our specialized care coordinators are multi-lingual. For additional convenience, live chat is open during the same hours, and express booking is available online.

Yes!  Most patients prefer to make their booking far in advance in preparation for their day of surgery. However, we understand this is not always possible due to last-minute surgery scheduling or previously planned transportation falling through. Therefore, we can arrange same-day service and urge you to call as soon as possible.

Our outpatient transportation services are used by any patient that undergoes anesthesia, is advised not to drive following their procedure, or needs someone to sign them out. There is no minimum qualification required, and patients can arrange for patient transport service for any day surgery procedure they have, including:

  • Endoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Cataract Surgery
  • Dental Surgery
  • Cosmetic Surgery
  • Carpal Tunnel Surgery
  • Pain Injections
  • Biopsies
  • Laparoscopic
  • Sinus
  • Reconstruction
  • Shoulder
  • Urology
  • Soft tissue repair

Yes! We operate throughout the country and in Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Lobby wait-in is available upon request. While we stay in contact with the nurses’ station, some patients feel more comfortable if their CNA driver is in the lobby during their surgery.

Hospitals and surgical centers require patients to be signed out and will not release patients to ride-sharing transportation. Our drivers are Certified Nursing Assistants that can sign out day surgery patients, escort them to the vehicle, and then into their homes.

Our drivers are Certified Nursing Assistants, CPR and first aid certified, and go through a background check. But, most of all, they are qualified caregiver drivers who are attentive and courteous!

Our qualified caregiver drivers will walk patients to the door, and can accompany patients inside their homes and make sure they are comfortable and situated before leaving.

Our patient transport service is a secure reservation with a medical professional. Many patients prefer to use our service rather than create any inconvenience to others. Also, some patients are concerned their post-surgery transportation may fall through for one reason or another, and their procedure would be canceled.

Because our drivers are CNAs, we are the preferred transportation of many surgical clinics, hospitals, and other medical centers. We also have affiliations with various medical center providers. Doctors schedule surgery for the health of their patients. We help patients overcome a barrier to getting to and from their medical procedures.

The journey to a healthier and happier you starts when you rely and trust in Amera.
